So it will come as a huge relief to the Anfield faithful that many in the German press are reporting as fact that one of the most promising young keepers in the Bundesliga is heading to Merseyside to join compatriot Jurgen Klopp. Kicker, amongst a number of other publications, claim that FSV Mainz 05 goalie Loris Karius is on his way to Anfield, and that a deal for the 22-year-old has all but been agreed. They describe the move to Liverpool as "almost certain" Now Karius joining Klopp's ranks would be good news enough purely for the fact that he is a fine prospect, who already shows an authority and calmness between the sticks that belies his age.
