In actual fact, having finally joined Twitter a few of weeks back, James Milner has used the social media platform to show off his sense of humour.
Now, only days on from using Twitter to poke fun at Harry Kane's successful goal appeal, Milner is again racking up the retweets with a tweet about the newly unveiled Liverpool home shirt. Or - more specifically - one of the images used to promote it.
Liverpool's 2018/19 home strip was revealed on Thursday by New Balance, days after leaked images of the kit started doing the rounds online. The club have themselves tweeted an image of the new shirt being worn by Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

Responding to this, Milner commented on how handsome the quintet were before pondering why he hadn't been selected for modelling duties.
'I must be doing the away kit,' he adds, much to the amusement of many of those that have since shared it.

We live in hope that Milner is selected to model the new away kit... perhaps with the help of an ironing board.?
