Both Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly chasing young Birmingham City striker Romello Mitchell.
The 16-year-old has reportedly impressed scouts from both clubs, who watched him score in Birmingham's Under-18 2-1 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.
Mitchell fired his way onto Liverpool's radar after he score twice in the U16s Blades Cup final as Birmingham beat the Merseyside team 8-4.

Birmingham manager Gary Monk will now find it increasingly difficult to keep hold of the young talent, as both United and Liverpool are expected to compete for his services.
However, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he does not expect his team to do any business in the remained of the January window.
“At the moment, I can see everyone staying at the club because no deal has been done with anyone I think but then again there is still a few more days,” said Solskjaer.
“But I am not too involved in the negotiations so whatever happens, happens.”
“It will be good to get the window closed so we can just focus on the squad and just improving the ones that stay here.”
