Look - we're not knocking the makers of FIFA 16 for failing to see Leicester's title charge. They, like everyone else in the world, simply weren't to know.

Given that Leicester had escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth at the back end of last season, it's hardly a surprise that the club's players weren't afforded much in the way of generous ratings when the latest FIFA game was launched. Newcastle United v Leicester City - Premier League Although plenty of these original ratings have since been updated, a glance back is still interesting (for the FIFA fans amongst us, at least). Highlights include freshly-crowned PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez rated at a mere 73 and Jamie Vardy at just 71. The pair are a good way off the squad's top rated players - Robert Huth (80) and the rarely-seen Gokhan Inler (80). GettyImages-484839566 Here is the squad in full... Leicester City player ratings: Goalkeepers: Kasper Schmeichel: 75 Mark Schwarzer: 73 Sunderland v Leicester City - Premier League Defenders: Robert Huth: 80 Yohan Benalouane: 75 Christian Fuchs: 74 Leicester City v Stoke City - Premier League Wes Morgan: 73 Marcin Wasilewski: 72 Danny Simpson: 72 Ritchie De Laet: 72 Liam Moore: 70 Midfielders: Gokhan Inler: 80 N'Golo Kante: 76 Riyad Mahrez: 73 Leicester City v Swansea City - Premier League Danny Drinkwater: 72 Marc Albrighton: 71 Andy King: 70 Hamza Choudhury: 57 Attackers: Shinji Okazaki: 78 Andrej Kramaric: 73 Sunderland v Leicester City - Premier League Leonardo Ulloa: 73 Jamie Vardy: 71 Of course, Vardy let everyone know exactly what he thought of his old FIFA rating a few months back... https://twitter.com/LFC_NEW5/status/697393262647230464?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Snapchat
