The Liverpool back-up keeper's proposed move could be the beginning of some serious happenings.
Leicester City's reported move for Liverpool back-up goalkeeper Danny Ward is expected to set off a chain of events which will see a number of high-profile goalkeepers change clubs. It was reported today that the Foxes had agreed a deal with the Reds to bring former Aberdeen keeper Ward to the King Power Stadium.
The deal, which was reported by a number of journalists, is expected to be completed within the next two days.
It was initially claimed that Ward would be joining as competition for Kasper Schmeichel rather than as a replacement. But further reports suggest that he will replace the Danish keeper, who performed heroics during his country's route to the quarter-finals of this summer's World Cup in Russia and has been linked with a move this summer.

After those World Cup heroics and with Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson seemingly just a medical away from a move to Anfield, it has been claimed that Schmeichel may well be moving to the Eternal City to become AS Roma's number one.

It had been reported by Sky Sports earlier in the month that Schmeichel had admirers at the Stadio Olimpico, with Chelsea also said to be looking into the possibility of bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
The Blues look set to lose their first choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois as things stand, with Real Madrid looking increasingly likely to sign both Courtois and his compatriot Eden Hazard.
Should Schmeichel move to Roma rather than Chelsea, that may well to turn their attention to Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech.
The Czech Republic international spent more than a decade at Stamford Bridge before moving to the Emirates, but is expected to lose his number one shirt to new signing Bernd Leno ahead of the upcoming season.
