Google has really earned its money today.

Leeds United have appointed Thomas Christiansen as their new manager. The 44-year-old will be familiar to those of you who might have chosen Cypriot football as their subject of choice on Mastermind - he has managed AEK Larnaca as well as APOEL - but the rest of us haven't got the faintest, foggiest notion of who he is. Christiansen actually had a fairly successful playing career; he played twice for Spain (the country of his mother's birth; Christiansen was born in Denmark) and was the joint top scorer in the Bundesliga in 2002/03. He's also rather handsome in a 'Game of Thrones squire about to meet his death' kind of way. However, he's not ringing any bells for fans of the Championship side, or English football in general. https://twitter.com/JoshJaques2/status/875308093902598144 https://twitter.com/StevieBiff/status/875307545371586561 https://twitter.com/DSelby147/status/875318451996426244 https://twitter.com/DanielHarry311/status/875318241752756225 https://twitter.com/LeedsUnitedLiam/status/875316658562359297 https://twitter.com/Tom_Ricco/status/875316225894690817 https://twitter.com/AngieLeedsFan/status/875316033241919489 https://twitter.com/PJ_Jenno/status/875315466708930560 https://twitter.com/paddypower/status/875308018799345664
