Jurgen Klopp faces Manchester United for the first time in his career on Sunday, knowing that a victory would put enormous pressure on Louis van Gaal.
Ahead of the game, the German has waxed lyrical of his admiration for one of Van Gaal's predecessors - the legendary David Moyes Sir Alex Ferguson.
Speaking at his press conference on Friday, Klopp went as far as comparing the legendary Manchester United boss with one of the city of Liverpool's favourite sons.
"I had really good moments with Sir Alex. It was an honour to talk with him. Maybe he's the greatest ever - the John Lennon of football."
