Poor Jim White was almost lost on transfer day without her.

One of the biggest moves of the January Transfer Window was Kate Abdo's switch from Sky Sports to FOX Sports. The news broke on January 17 with FOX announcing Abdo would front some of their coverage of Bundesliga, FA Cup and World Cup action from their American studios. Having got her TV break at German TV station DW-TV, before moving on to CNN and Sky, Abdo is fluent in German. She is also fluent in Spanish and French.
