Jose Mourinho tops Alex Ferguson record with win over Newcastle United

It might be hard to believe given Manchester United's start to the season, but manager Jose Mourinho now boasts the highest winning ratio in the club's history after a 3-2 win over Newcastle United on Saturday.

The embattled red devils boss looked set for a fifth consecutive match without a win but a late Alexis Sanchez header saved his blushes and put an end to a miserable couple of weeks for the club. Newcastle struck twice inside the first 10 minutes to give Rafael Benitez's side an early lead at Old Trafford before a second-half free-kick from Juan Mata acted as a a catalyst for change with Anthony Martial and Sanchez both tagging on late goals to complete a remarkable 3-2 comeback at Old Trafford.
