Jose Mourinho outlines plans to add one more player to his Manchester United squad

He's finally here.

Even Jose Mourinho seemed vaguely exhausted by the time he was unveiled as Manchester United manager on Tuesday morning. Anyone hoping for the charismatic and charming Jose would have been disappointed as instead he was sullen and monotone in his delivery. Maybe he was just bored. https://twitter.com/dionfanning/status/750274586089054208 But Mourinho did outline his transfer plans for the summer saying he hopes to add two more players to the two who have already put pen to paper at Old Trafford (Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly). One of these is expected "soon" according to Mourinho and is presumably Borussia Dortmund playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan, whose transfer is expected to be confirmed in the coming days.

"I am clear with my approach and model of player. I like one or two multi-functional players. You always need someone that can give you a hand. "From these targets we have three, until we have the fourth we are working hard on that, with Mr Woodward and the owners. When we have them we will breathe, we will be stable, and the market will still be open."

The identity of the fourth remains a mystery but all signs point to Mourinho being hellbent on signing Paul Pogba from Juventus for a world record fee.
