Images of former club captain Jordan Henderson have been removed from Liverpool's AXA training centre and replaced with Trent Alexander Arnold.
On the wall there was an image of Henderson lifting up the Premier League trophy that he captained his side to back in the 2020 season, however, following his controversial move to the Saudi Arabia Super League, it has now been removed.
Now there's an image of Alexander Arnold holding the European Cup after his side's victory in 2019, and next to it is a quote that reads: "I'm just a normal lad from Liverpool whose dreams have just come true."
Jurgen Klopp has already branded his new-look team as "Liverpool 2.0" and the replacements in midfield in particular have been a key part to their very successful start to the season.
Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Waturo Endo, and Ryan Gravenberch have been given the task of replacing former players that led the club to unprecedented success.
Henderson, Fabinho, Oxlade Chamberlain, Naby Keita, and James Milner all left last summer as part of this Liverpool revamp, following a dissaointixng campaign.
With their captain leaving, the armband was awarded to Virgil van Dijk, while Alexander Arnold was given the vice captaincy, an extra special accolade for him because he came through the academy.
Liverpool have started their season undefeated in their opening seven games, and have progressed to the next round of the Carabao Cup as well following their 3-1 defeat of Leicester City.
Klopp has said that this isn't 'year eight' but 'year one' of this fresh Liverpool side, and now it looks like the change in the training centre is a part of that as well.
