Joe Hart signs for Torino, and some people have only just realised Joseph isn’t his first name

For many, one of the biggest surprises of transfer deadline day has come courtesy of Joe Hart.

The Manchester City goalkeeper completed his loan switch to Serie A club, Torino, after Pep Guardiola made it quite clear that he wouldn't be first choice between the sticks at The Etihad this season. But it's not his season-long stay in Italy that's the surprise bit... Instead, it's the fact that many, many football fans have only just discovered his real name isn't actually 'Joe Hart'. A statement from Torino not only confirmed that the England goalkeeper had signed for the club, but also that his official first name is indeed 'Charles'.
