For some of us, just about every other sentence that comes out of our mouths is a reference to either Alan Partridge or The Office.
It's probably (definitely) really annoying for our friends and family but who cares when we're making ourselves laugh, right?
But it seems we are not alone. The crown prince of Sky Sports football punditry Jamie Carragher has revealed he is also a David Brent fan with his latest (and certainly best) effort at trolling his on screen 'BANTA BUDDY' Gary Neville.
G-Nev was in the commentary chair for Liverpool's 2-1 win at Chelsea on Friday night while Carra was on the pundits' sofa with Graeme Souness and Thierry Henry for the match.
After Liverpool's victory was wrapped up, the Neviller posted this on his Instagram account:

It was an open goal for Jamie, who couldn't resist this riposte, referencing everyone's favourite night out in glamorous Slough's best nightclub.

Spot on, Carra. Spot on.
And as for G-Nev? Well he should have known. After all, as Brent told us, football (and BANTA) is a man's game.
