Stephen Henderson's time outside the Championship didn't last too long.

The Irish goalkeeper has returned to England's second tier after being signed to a three-year deal by Nottingham Forest. Henderson was relegated to League One with Charlton last season but joins Forest on a free transfer, as confirmed by the club on Friday. https://twitter.com/henderson_sf/status/756516128726351872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The former Republic of Ireland U21 international made 22 appearances for Charlton last season and impressed enough for Forest manager Philippe Montanier to bring him in to provide competition for current No.1 Dorus de Vries. Henderson comes from a great goalkeeping family. His father and grandfather were both League of Ireland 'keepers and his uncle is former Ireland international Wayne Henderson.
