Ireland vs Netherlands: What is at stake in the Euro 2024 qualifier?
Ireland must win the match to keep alive their small chance of finishing in the top two in Group B.
Stephen Kenny's side come into the fixture at the Aviva Stadium with three points from four games, after losing twice to France and suffering a 2-1 defeat to Greece back in June.
Ireland are halfway through the campaign but currently look unlikely to qualify for Euro 2024 unless they can win their remaining games, starting with the Dutch on Sunday night.
Kenny's side also aren't guaranteed a play-off place due to their performance in the Uefa Nations League.
For the Ireland boss, in his 36th match in charge, the match against Netherlands looks like it will make or break his tenure.
The Netherlands, meanwhile, look on course to finish second in the group behind France. Ronald Koeman's team beat Greece 3-0 in Eindhoven last Thursday, and have six points from three matches.
The Dutch can tighten their grip on the second automatic qualification position with a victory in Dublin.
