But one Arsenal fan predicted the move would happen - lats June.
Tom Gordon, posting under the Twitter name @GoonerGordo (giving some clue to his club allegiances), wrote on June 27th 2015 "Wilshere is joining Bournemouth".

Bournemouth chief executive Neil Blake said: "Jack is a fantastic addition to the club.
"He is a player that needs no introduction and one that, quite rightly, our supporters will be excited to see in a Bournemouth shirt.
"He will bring a wealth of international and Premier League experience, so we are delighted to be able to welcome a player of his calibre to the club."
Wilshere has spent his entire professional career at Arsenal, save for a short loan spell in 2010 under then-Bolton boss Owen Coyle.
He has played 157 games for the club but has struggled with injuries, restricting his first team action, hence the need for a loan switch.
