Reports have already suggested Liverpool were considering an offer to take Buffon to Anfield. If they are (and they're probably not), word from France suggests they may have been caught napping by Paris Saint-Germain.
Le Parisien claim that PSG, who reclaimed the French title from AS Monaco this season, have already been in contact with Buffon and have made clear that they are willing to offer him a two-year deal.

The same report also highlights how the Italian press have suggested Buffon would be welcomed at Real Madrid as well as PSG.
"Saturday will be my last match with Juventus and I do believe it will be the most beautiful thing to end my amazing adventure this way," Buffon said on Thursday.
"What will I do next? For now I only know that I will play a game on Saturday. Until a few days ago it was certain that I would stop playing. Interesting proposals have now arrived."
Buffon arrived at Juventus from Parma in 2001 for a then world record fee for a goalkeeper. As well as winning several Serie A titles with the Turin club, he also was Italy's number 1 when they won the World Cup in Germany in 2006.
Although his dream of winning the Champions League for the first time was seemingly ended by Real Madrid earlier in the season, it now seems like he may have been given another opportunity by PSG.
He is expected to make a final decision on his future at some point in the next week.Ireland warned of huge punishment for wider sport if Israel game had been boycotted
