Gary Neville’s comeback to Kieron Dyer’s “dwarf” comment was perfect

Following Arsene Wenger's announcement that he will leave Arsenal at the end of the season, tributes have been paid to the Frenchman and the great teams he built in the past. Since joining the club in 1996, Wenger has helped Arsenal win three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups. Kieron Dyer was among the many to pay tribute to Wenger and Arsenal and was speaking about the great Gunners teams he faced during his career. The former Newcastle United midfielder said on BBC radio that the Arsenal "Invincibles" team of the 2003/04 season, when they went unbeaten on the way to the Premier League title, were the only side he felt intimidated by before a match. Dyer said that the physical power and height of some players, such as Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp, and Thierry Henry, left him feeling overawed in the tunnel before a game - unlike when he played Manchester United and Gary Neville.
