Gary Neville has told the Glazer family that it would be "unacceptable" to part sell Manchester United amid reports they are in talks with US investment fund Apollo. The Daily Mail reported this week that the New York private equity group were in talks with the Glazer family to purchase a minority stake in United. Talks between the two parties are largely focused on how much money the Glazers would receive for selling those shares, with no plans for any extra investment into the club itself, something supporters have been protesting for. Neville tweeted his thoughts on Friday, warning Apollo that they 'wouldn't be welcomed in Manchester' if they agree a deal. He wrote: "If the reports are true that the Glazer Family are ready to part sell ahead of a full sale it’s totally unacceptable that this is to a US investment fund. "Apollo have been mentioned but they need to know they will not be welcomed in Manchester." https://twitter.com/GNev2/status/1560481267233210368 The pundit also called for the need of an independent regulator once again while also claiming that 'US money is a bigger danger than any other international money.'
