Ranieri's last game in-charge was on Wednesday night, when Leicester lost 2-1 away to Sevilla in the last-16 of the Champions League.

The reaction to Ranieri getting sacked has been mostly of sadness, with Gary Lineker summing it up best.
The Leicester native, former Foxes striker and lifelong fan of the club called the decision "inexplicable, unforgivable and gut-wrenchingly sad."
