Everton’s new signing made sure to change his profile picture as soon as he signed

Awkward.

Enner Valencia signed for Everton in the final hours of transfer deadline day on a season-long loan deal from West Ham. The striker wanted to make sure he started life at Goodison Park on good terms, so he changed the profile picture on his official Facebook page. Valencia opted for a photo of him playing for Ecuador, instead of his previous photo, which features him alongside a Liverpool legend... Here's Valencia's previous photo, featuring Steven Gerrard... Valencia probably concluded that it wasn't worth a potential headache to be seen posing alongside a legend of Everton's rival club. If he had've signed for Swansea City, as the club seemed to think he had, then Valencia wouldn't have had this problem.
