Espanyol red card villain comes out with controversial comments on Barcelona war

Pape Diop essentially argued that Espanyol weren't violent because no Barcelona players were hospitalised during their 4-1 loss to the Catalans.
No matter what way you slice it up, that was a dirty match. Espanyol finished the game with nine players after Diop was awarded a second yellow for dissent after persistent fouling, while Hernan Perez also received a second yellow. On top of that, Espanyol had five other players booked during the game, including goalkeeper López Sabata who was extremely lucky to stay on the pitch considering he blatantly stamped on Messi. Barcelona were no saints either finishing the game with four booked men on the park, but Espanyol had the heftier fouls throughout the game.
