Not getting carried away with himself.

Dundalk lie second in their Europa League group after following up their opening draw, away to AZ Alkmaar, with a fantastic 1-0 win over Maccabi Tel Aviv at Tallaght Stadium, last night. Stephen Kenny's men were full value for their victory as they pressed the Israeli side all over the park and were slick, and adventurous, in possession. https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/781608469908557824 Their reward arrived with just over 15 minutes to play as Ciaran Kilduff timed his run perfectly to side-foot home a floated cross. Kilduff's winner meant Dundalk became the first Irish club team to win a group game in a major European competition. Post-match, Today FM reporter Philip Egan caught up with Kilduff for an interview and was blown away by his generous offer after he had stopped recording. https://twitter.com/PhilEganTodayFM/status/781624011591737344 What a legend. Kilduff, who also scored against Alkmaar, was also interviewed for the official Dundalk website. He was already looking ahead to Dundalk's upcoming Europa League double-header:
"We were ready tonight... We'll be ready for Zenit St Petersburg when they come. They're a Champions League side, in fairness. They are probably our two toughest games, on paper, but we'll be ready." "We've captured the imagine now," he added. "We're not just making up the numbers."
He can say that again. And, if anyone is looking for a lift home, give him a holler. Will it be Mayo (or the Dubs) 4 Sam? Wooly, Paul Galvin and Conán Doherty preview Saturday’s All-Ireland final replay.
