Arsenal fans enjoyed Diego Simeone being sent to the stands more than anything.
13 minutes into Thursday's Europa League semi-final, Diego Simeone received his marching orders.
Atletico Madrid's trip to the Emirates was already off to a ropey start by then. After nine minutes, they were down to ten men. Sime Vrsaljko was shown a red after committing two bookable offences. His first foul came just two minutes in on Jack Wilshere and he was sent for an early bath for a late challenge on Alexandre Lacazette.
Simeone didn't agree with the decision and he let referee Clement Turpin know all about it. A few minutes later, following a foul from Hector Bellerin, Simeone started screaming from the sidelines again. This time the man in the middle had seen enough. He was forced to watch the match by standing near the Arsenal director box.

Christmas morning at the Emirates
The 25th of December is usually a pretty great day for adults. There's gifts, there's booze, there's food and, most importantly, there's no work. However, the holiday is really special for children.
You know that look that washes over your child or younger sibling's face when they wake up and realise it's Christmas? The sheer excitement on their faces as they realise Santa dropped off the goods, polished off the milk and cookies that were left out for him while he let Rudolph take a big bite out of that carrot that was on the table? That childlike wonderment that only seems to exist when magic is present?
Yeah, that's the look that was on the Arsenal fans' faces as they waved Simeone off the pitch.
