An awkward moment between Shels boss Damien Duff and Bohs boss Alan Reynolds, showed that their feud is still ongoing after the Gypsies 1-0 loss to their Dublin rivals last night.
The spat between the two gaffers began last year, when Reynolds reportedly barged into Duff's office ahead of a game between the sides last season.
Earlier this year, Reynolds said: “I don't have any relationship with Damien Duff."
“It’s over. I’m after being in enough scrapes in my time to know that. Look, we had words over something. If it’s a big deal to him, so be it. It’s not for me. I’m moving on.”
Ahead of last night's game, Duff said: “Firstly, I don't have a relationship with anyone but I'm absolutely very happy.
"To prepare for a game, any game, whether it's in Europe, the cup or the league is the hardest, most tiring thing I have ever done in my life. The game finished last Friday at 10pm, late home, you watch the Pat’s game, you're up early the next day, you get to bed really late and you're designing sessions.
After the full-time whistle, the two men had a chance to shake hands when Duff walked past with counterpart, just inches away from him. But neither of them made an attempt to acknowledge each other.
And the outspoken Duff also had words for former manager Roddy Collins after the Virgin pundit insulted goalscorer Mipo Adubeko.
Ahead of the game, Collins said: "Mipo. He's probably one of the worst finishers I've seen in Irish football. However, I'd pick him every week!
"His other attributes in the game... how he occupies defenders with his pace, he is a nuisance. If he could finish he wouldn't be playing for Shels, you could sell him for millions."
But Duff hit back and said: "I love Roddy but I think it’s a really poor comment, really poor.
"Especially about a young boy who has maybe been a bit lost at times, bouncing from club to club.
“We’ve given him that foundation to kick on his career. Hopefully that’s here or really do well and go back to England.
"Here, it’s an awful comment. You need to do your homework better to come out with a big comment like that.”
