Pepijn Lijnders has rejoined Liverpool after spending a year at Dutch club N.E.C.
The coach spent four years at Liverpool between 2014-18 as First Team Development Coach, and today the club announced that he has returned to Anfield to join Jürgen Klopp's coaching team.
Lijnders left NEC just five months after being appointed as their manager. He helped guide them to a third-place finish in the second-tier Eerste Divisie and an end-of-season playoff spot. However, he departed after the club lost 5-4 on aggregate to seventh-place Emmen in the second round.

Buvac's position is not under threat though, and he will return to work following his leave taken for "personal reasons."
Liverpool have already confirmed the signing of Fabinho, and will be looking to bring in a goalkeeper and another forward before the 2018/19 season.
