Irish striker earns his place in the Premier League at last.
Luton Town have won the race to sign Ireland's cult hero Chiedozie Ogbene, as they bolster their squad for new Premier League season.
Ogbene turned down a new contract at Rotherham United and grasped his opportunity to play in the biggest league in the world.
This will come as good news to Ireland fans who have been concerned about the lack of players in England's top flight, with most of them playing in the Championship or below.

The 26-year-old made 136 appearances for the Millers, scoring 14 goals, and his searing pace made him a huge asset, and with Luton coming into some new cash, they wanted to splurge.
The club said in statement on their website: "Having taken time to assess his options over the summer months – which included a good offer on the table from the Millers to retain his services – Chieo found the lure of Premier League football too much to turn down. He leaves with all the best wishes and thanks from everyone at Rotherham United."
The Republic of Ireland striker helped keep Rotherham in the Championship last season but has his eyes set on bigger things.
Ogbene will hope to emulate his teammate Evan Ferguson who took to the top flight with relative ease at Brighton, and with these two firing in the Premier League, then Stephen Kenny will be a much happier man.
As far as transfer window news can affect Irish fans, things have got off to a good start.
