Their captain Vincent Kompany had assuredly headed away a cross from Dan Gosling. The loose ball dropped towards Charlie Daniels, standing a yard or two outside the area on the left side. The Cherries defender would surely take a moment to control possession and loft another cross into the visitors' congested six-yard box. But no, instead the experienced defender decided to throw caution to the wind and absolutely twat the ball with all his might. It exploded off his laces and smashed into the goal like a laser-guided missile. Unstoppable. incredible. Out-fucking-standing. Ederson had no chance of stopping it. It was hit so hard and so pure.
