Bournemouth make young fan’s day with heartwarming gesture

When Bournemouth defender Adam Smith threw his shirt into the crowd after the club's defeat at Southampton, the young fan who caught it was made up.

But joy soon turned to sadness as the shirt was snatched from him, leading the boy's mother to share the story on social media. It's reminiscent of the fantastic gesture from Preston's Jermaine Beckford after a Lilywhites fan had the striker's shirt snatched from him during last season's play-off final.
