Borussia Monchengladbach are writing notes to excuse their fans from work

Borussia Monchengladbach are already up there at the top of the running for our annual Fan-Friendly Club of the Year award (which we definitely didn't just invent).

On Tuesday, the German club's Champions League tie at Manchester City was postponed because of some truly Mancunian rain. https://twitter.com/ManCity/status/775773887476953088?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The thousands of travelling fans were crestfallen, to say the least, but to ease the pain somewhat, the club announced that they would refund the cost of the match tickets to every fan - even if they used them for the rearranged game at the Etihad tonight. Class indeed.
