Bayern Munich have apologised after a graphic published on their Twitter account was interpreted by some as a reference to the Auschwitz concentration camp.

Bayern's official Twitter account shared an image showing Manuel Neuer, the end of a railway track in front of their Allianz Arena stadium, and the words "Qui è la fine", meaning "Here is the end" in Italian.

Replies to the tweet suggested that the image was similar to photographs showing the train tracks leading to the Auschwitz concentration camp, prompting the club to follow tweet the following apology:
