Alexis Sanchez calls ‘fake news’ on The Sun

Alexis Sanchez has used his Twitter account to deny a 'false' story published in The Sun over the weekend.

The Chilean international, whose move to Manchester United from Arsenal is imminent, was the subject of an 'exclusive' from the newspaper, in which it was claimed he had offered a student £1,000 for sex. The story claimed Sanchez, who is in a relationship with actress Mayte Rodriquez, approached the student in a bar before he 'bombarded her with texts'. A tweet posted on Sanchez's Twitter account on Monday denied the claims being made in the article, which featured quotes from the student.
