Slapsies!
When 108kg Julian Savea and 123kg Eben Etzebeth collided during this morning’s Super Rugby game between the Hurricanes and the Stormers in Wellington, we weren’t expecting a fight as hilarious as this.
The pair were both grinning like little kids when they crosses paths, but after Etzebeth gave Savea a little slap on the cheek, the All-Black soon lost his smile and returned the slap with interest.
Etzebeth was finding all of this hilarious though, and had another little slap at Savea. Unfortunately the game was broken up before the slaps descended to punches.
A real shame, although the enormous grin on Etzebeth’s face while it was all going in is just fantastic.
The real winner here was the age-old gave of slapsies.
