Still, looks very odd.

Ireland are taking on New Zealand at Soldier Field today and, by God, is Rory Best up for it: https://twitter.com/SportsJOEdotie/status/794984964857233409 Ireland have two potential debutants on their bench and they will be hoping they can unlock the Kiwi defence when their moments come. Joey Carbery and Garry Ringrose are two of Irish rugby's brightest prospects and both should get a run-out in this Test. Even if both lads get game-time, their treasured jerseys will forever have 'Cap 0' on them. The IRFU are playing it safe, just in case one or both players don't get on. Were either player to be in from the start the jersey would say 'Cap 1' but there's no such luck for an uncapped player named on the bench. Irish outhalf Ian Madigan solved this mystery for us: https://twitter.com/Ian_madigan/status/794975758032797696 Their time will surely come. Until then, it's Cap 0.
