Davy McGregor is tough. Ridiculously tough, in fact.
The former Irish under 20 hooker now plays his rugby in Scotland for Heriots rugby club, and had the honour last night of togging out against the famous Barbarians in an exhibition game.
However, things took an excruciatingly painful twist, when he got his head caught in a tackle, resulting to a monstrous laceration to his ear.
The cut was so bad, that it almost left his ear hanging by a thread, and he's since had to see a plastic surgeon about getting it reattached.
Here it is in all its, eh, glory.

However, despite the horrific injury, McGregor seems to be taking it in his stride, joking with Glasgow's James Eddie, who was playing with the Baa Baas last night, about how it was his chance to show his toughness
