Leinster have been given a big boost ahead of this weekend’s Champions Cup meeting with Harlequins at The Stoop, after plenty of their big names returned to full training today.

Rob Kearney has returned following his concussion during Ireland’s win against Australia 10 days ago, while Ian Madigan has shaken off his ankle injury from Saturday’s win against the Ospreys.

Fergus McFadden also took a full part in training, having sat out Monday’s session following his return from an ankle injury picked up against Munster in October.

Luke Fitzgerald is also expected to be available after returning to full training, but the province say they will monitor his progress on “a daily basis”.

The Leinster pack was also boosted, with Mike McCarthy and Tom Denton recovering from their respective head and calf injuries.

However, Australian second-row Kane Douglas isn’t likely to make a return for Sunday’s game in London as he continues to be monitored through the return to play protocols, while Richardt Strauss is yet to train fully, following his hamstring injury picked up against Treviso.
