The interim title fight between Conor McGregor and Chad Mendes is official now that both featherweights came in on weight. The welterweight title is also on the line in the co-main event of UFC 189 with champion Robbie Lawler and challenger Rory MacDonald coming in bang on point. Among the rest of the Irish contingent, Cathal Pendred looked great as he had no bother coming in on the welterweight limit as he looks to stretch his undefeated UFC streak to five against John Howard.
Team Ryano's Neil Seery, as usual, had no difficulty making 125lbs as he attempts to put an end to all the trash-talk in a flyweight encounter against Louis Smolka.
