Handshake offered... declined

Donald Cerrone seldom enters fights with any hostility.

‘Cowboy’ loves fighting and considers it more of a profitable hobby than a grinding job and the photographs of some of his encounters with recent opponents show you that he doesn’t really feel any ill will towards the men with whom he’s set to share the Octagon.

He’s always full of smiles, never one to shy away from a handshake and a hug has not been out of the question on occasion.

But upcoming opponent Matt Brown doesn’t play around like that.

Ahead of what’s bound to be a welterweight barn-burner in the UFC 206 co-main event this weekend, Brown and ‘Cowboy’ came head-to-head at a media day in Toronto.

A relaxed Cerrone took to the stage, where he offered his hand to a rather intense Brown.

‘The Immortal’ was simply not interested in pleasantries as he stared daggers at the man standing opposite him.

MMA Fighting reporter Ariel Helwani captured the exchange in all its fiery glory.
