WATCH: UFC lightweight missed weight, lost via TKO, pushed a ref and now failed a drug test

A bad night

If we were Francisco Trevino, we wouldn’t hold our breath for the UFC’s next fight offer.

The lightweight took on the highly touted Sage Northcutt at UFC 192 two weeks ago and it literally couldn’t have gone any worse.

The night before the bout, Trevino pissed off the UFC brass by coming in four pounds over the lightweight limit of 156 lbs but Northcutt happily took the fight regardless.

The fight didn’t go much better for Trevino as he was TKO’d by Super Sage in less than a minute.

He then made himself enemy number one by shoving referee Herb Dean in protest of the stoppage.

And to put the cherry on top of all of that, it’s emerged this week that Trevino tested positive for marijuana metabolites when tested by the Texas Combative Sports Program.

The fighter will serve a 90 day suspension for the failed drug test but faced no punishment for the altercation with Herb Dean after the final bell.

There are bad nights and then there are Trevino nights.
