Van Zant records third round knock-out in first ever fight
Two of the most popular female MMA fighters around Paige VanZant and Kailin Curran went toe-to-toe on Sunday morning in Austin in a tense and sometimes hard fought battle at strawweight.
It almost went the distance but eventually the 20 year old proved too strong for Curran as she combined a judo throw with a flurry of punches to record a TKO on 2.54 in Round three.
We think we’ll be seeing plenty more of VanZant in 2015.
