This comment even drew a rueful smile from the defeated Conor McGregor.
Ahead of Nate Diaz' welterweight fight with McGregor, FOX Sports commentator Jon Anik made a confident bet:"I'm going to say it here for the masses to hear. I will get the area code '209' tattooed on the inside of my forearm, if Nate Diaz beats Conor McGregor. I got Conor in Round 1."Post-fight, Diaz was not going to let him forget it. The Californian, who submitted McGregor in the second round, wrapped up the final UFC 196 press encounter with this declaration:
"Yo, yo, John Anik better get a motherf*cking 209 tattoo or I'm going to whoop his little ass."
In fairness to Anik, he looks game.
