Something tells us Jake Shields isn’t AJ Agazarm’s biggest fan.
The former Strikeforce champion fought to a draw with Agazarm in their grappling match at Polaris 3 on Saturday. Despite the fact that neither man was able to submit the other, there was absolutely no mutual respect between the opponents after the bout.
It all kicked off when Shields refused Agazarm’s handshake when the fight had finished. After realising that Shields wasn’t going to accept his outstretched hand, he shoved him backwards. Shields then saw red and fired back with the Stockton slap to the dome before the two were separated from each other.

Shields revealed in the post-fight interview that he wasn’t pleased with how Agazarm handled himself during the bout, even going as far as accusing him of eye-gouging.
“This guy was talking crap the whole time, gouging my eyes. I just had my eye gouged for the first time in my life my last fight and now you got this prick doing the same thing. He was bragging yesterday, ‘I’m gonna try and make it a draw, I’m gonna try to make it a draw. I know I can’t beat you, but if I can make it a draw I’m gonna consider that a win.’ Well, congratulations A.J. You’re a bitch. How does it feel to be a pussy and get your draw?”
