There are few more exciting finishes in combat sports than the spinning head kick knockout.

Anyone who attended Warrior FC VI in Dublin last weekend was treated to this superb finish in the co-main event. The 80 kg K-1 contest saw Elite Martial Arts' Damian Darker slug it out with Lee McKibbin of Langka Muay Thai in Belfast. The fight itself was a well contested, back-and-forth battle until Dubliner Darker delivered the devastating coup de grace in the third and final round. The 23-year-old sent his opponent crashing down to the canvas with a perfectly-place spinning heel kick that struck with Tsunami-like power. Lee was taken to the hospital for standard chek-ups after the event, but was completely fine following the knockout.
