For those of you who haven't held Thai Pads, let us assure you that it can often be the hardest part of training.
You often leave the gym nursing your forearms and vowing never to return... and that's just at beginner classes.
So when you're doing pad work with Muay Thai legend Buakaw Banchamek, it's safe to say that your month is going to be ruined.
A video of the iconic welterweight absolutely smashing the pads emerged yesterday and the pace gets too much for the poor, unfortunate holder who jokingly* tries to run away from the drill.
But Buakaw chases him out of the ring, around the gym equipment until they end up outside with the exhausted trainer left crumpled on the floor in a pile of sweat.
We could be holding pads for Buakaw under water and it would still break our bloody arms.
*Probably not jokingly
