Keep schtum.

Donald Cerrone is known to be a forthright fellow but even he had to be coaxed to give his honest opinion on Reebok’s exclusive apparel deal for UFC fighters.

Cerrone feels the deal, which sees all fighters go to weigh-ins and fights in Reebok gear, may impinge on already cash-strapped fighters.

Cowboy, who will fight Rafael dos Anjos for his UFC Lightweight belt on December 17, was speaking on AXS TV’s Inside MMA show when he made the comments.

‘If I say something, you will see Cowboy fighting in Bellator next week,’ he joked.

Cerrone continued, ‘Yeah, the Reebok deal is definitely hurting everybody. All the big corporate sponsors I have are sticking with me, thank God… This is my first fight with the Reebok deal and all my sponsors said they’re sticking by so we’ll see.’

Cerrone concluded his interview by giving a hardcore shout-out to a beer company that is paying some of his bills.
