Conor McGregor is looking lean and energetic for his first lightweight fight in the UFC.
'The Notorious' may well have found his perfect weight class as he was showing no signs of the gauntness, nor was he holding any of the unnecessary bulk, that we've seen from him at weigh-ins at featherweight and welterweight respectively.
Lightweight seems just right for the Irishman, who looked in phenomenal shape on Wednesday when he took to the Madison Square Garden court for the open workout ahead of his UFC 205 main event with Eddie Alvarez.
McGregor enjoyed a spot of pad work with striking coach Owen Roddy before he ditched the boxing gloves and play-sparred with Roddy, which ended via rear naked choke.

'The Notorious' looked in fine spirits as he hugged head coach John Kavanagh and training partner Dillon Danis before he raised Roddy's hands in appreciation.
And the crowd absolutely adored the sight of McGregor draining a basket, as displayed in the above video from The Mac Life.
You can't quite see the ball dropping into the net in that clip but, don't worry. Ariel Helwani's got you covered.
