To outstrike Cian Cowley, you have to be pretty damn decent on the feet.
The Muay Thai champion is only 23-years-old but possesses a wealth of experience in striking, so much so that he has lent a hand to Conor McGregor in his preparation for UFC 194.
Cowley has recently joined SBG as he readies himself for his MMA debut and he's only recently started sparring with The Notorious.
On Saturday, McGregor posted a video showing his speed while working on his stand-up with Cowley.
Cowley has a much different frame to McGregor's opponent, Jose Aldo, but Aldo's forte is also Muay Thai so Cowley's presence at SBG will be a great advantage for the UFC interim featherweight champion as his training camp winds down.
