VIDEO: Trailer for new UFC game released featuring dodgy Conor McGregor likeness

Hmmm...

The official gameplay trailer for EA Sports UFC 2 has finally been released.

EA uploaded the cinematic clip to their official YouTube channel on Tuesday and aside for some questionable looking fighter likenesses, namely Conor McGregor, it looks like it’s going to be a pretty awesome game.

The trailer opens with some “fan footage” of the Notorious’ 13 second knockout of Jose Aldo at UFC 193, and then we see the pixelated McGregor swagger-jacker executing his “making it rain” celebration.

After that we get bombarded with computer generated reconstructions of some of the more memorable fights of recent memory from Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald’s “best fight of… ever” to Holly Holm’s thunderous head kick knockout of Ronda Rousey.

Jon Jones is seen at one stage in the crowd, which is either one last sucker punch over his ban from the sport or it’s an attempt to showcase the realism of the game. We have no doubt though that arguably the greatest fighter ever to grace an Octagon will be a playable character in the game.
