If anyone had any doubts as to how legitimate Nick Diaz's bad-ass image is, let them be dismissed.
Rare footage emerged yesterday of the middleweight involved in a very raw, very early MMA fight. The grainy video shows Diaz exhibiting the seeds of his grappling skills as he submits his unrecognisable opponent with a guillotine choke after five minutes but his striking looked on point before the finish too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39rSOmwIIkk The clip was made public with less a month to go until the 26-9-1NC fighter meets MMA legend and arguably the greatest of all time, Anderson Silva, at UFC 183.
