We doubt that December 12 will descend into a capoeira contest but both Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor look pretty confident in their skills.
Aldo was filmed this week displaying his talents in Rio de Janeiro. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=55&v=dxzuivhITdU In the octagon, it is Aldo's rival Conor McGregor who uses techniques more like those used in the Brazilian martial art which includes elements of dancing and acrobatics. Over the years, the Irishman has shown off his proficiency in capoeira in training scenarios, also taking to the Rio streets with his kicking. Aldo remains unimpressed though. "Conor can’t do shit," Aldo told the media this week. "He’s a fucking clown. This is capoeira, that’s what we do. I’m a bit tired because I did some physical training this morning and my coach killed me there, but I was able to throw some kicks and play around."Explore more on these topics:
